Learn moreOur story
A Maryville-based dumpster and junk removal company built for Blount County and the towns around it.

MRC Dumpster Rental serves Maryville and the rest of Blount County from a yard on Dotson Memorial Rd, a short drive off Broadway Avenue in downtown Maryville. The company was established by a local Blount County entrepreneur who saw how often homeowners, contractors and cabin-property managers in this part of East Tennessee ended up waiting on dumpster companies dispatched out of Knoxville, on delivery windows that didn't fit a real job site.
Today MRC runs roll-off dumpsters and a junk removal crew across nine towns between the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains and the Tennessee River — from fast-growing Alcoa near McGhee Tyson Airport to rural Greenback across the Loudon County line. Dispatch, the driver and the crew work out of the Maryville yard Monday through Saturday, quoting flat-rate prices over the phone instead of making customers guess.
By the numbers
Figures are indicative of our current operation.
The old MRC site's About page describes the company as "established by a local Blount County entrepreneur" — no founding year was ever published, so none is claimed here. What is consistent with the company's own service area is the reason for starting it: Blount County was growing. Alcoa's construction boom near the airport, renovation work in older Maryville neighborhoods, and cabin turnover jobs near Townsend and Walland all needed dumpster capacity, and much of what served the area at the time was dispatched out of Knoxville. MRC's founder set out to put a yard, trucks and a driver inside the county itself.
MRC runs 10, 15, 20, 30 and 40-yard roll-off dumpsters alongside a dedicated junk removal crew, covering twelve service lines — residential and commercial dumpster rental, construction and demolition debris, roofing tear-offs, concrete and heavy debris, estate cleanouts, yard waste, same-day rentals, and storm debris cleanup after the kind of severe spring thunderstorm that regularly rolls through the foothills. Whether the job is a single bathroom remodel or a full new-construction build, dispatch sizes the container to the job rather than defaulting to whatever's easiest to deliver.
The company's containers, trucks and dispatch office are based at 114 Dotson Memorial Rd in Maryville, close to Broadway Avenue and US-321, which keeps most of the service area within reach for same-day or next-day delivery. That local base is the practical difference between MRC and a dumpster company routed in from Knoxville — a truck that starts the day in Blount County reaches Alcoa, Rockford, Louisville and Eagleton Village faster, and can still make it out to Townsend, Walland, Friendsville or Greenback without losing the whole day to driving.
MRC doesn't publish customer reviews or star ratings, and this site won't invent any — that's a deliberate choice, not an oversight. The same approach applies to permits: MRC states a specific rule only where one has actually been confirmed (placement entirely on private property in Maryville needs no permit), and says so plainly, with a recommendation to call the local office, everywhere else. Pricing works the same way — a real range, not a guaranteed number, with a phone call to lock in the actual price for your job.
What we stand on
Every quote includes delivery, pickup and disposal up front. Call for the number, and that's the number — no surprise fees added at pickup.
The yard, trucks and crew are based in Maryville, so most of Blount County and Greenback can get same-day or next-day delivery instead of waiting on a truck routed in from out of the county.
Dispatch asks about the job before quoting a size, so a small cleanout doesn't get talked into a 40-yard container it doesn't need — and a demolition job doesn't get stuck with one that's too small.
MRC only states a permit rule when it's actually confirmed. Placement fully on private property in Maryville needs no permit; every other town gets a straight 'call your town office to confirm' instead of a guess.
The driver plans container placement to protect driveways and yards, and can set boards under the rails on request rather than dropping a loaded bin straight onto pavement or turf.
From winter ice-and-snow scheduling to spring storm cleanup after severe thunderstorms move through the foothills, the fleet and dispatch process are built around how Blount County actually works and weathers.
Faces from the yard
Dispatch, drivers and the yard crew who actually run your job — the same faces whether you call on a Tuesday or a Saturday.

MRC was established by a local Blount County entrepreneur. We keep company materials at the role level — founder, dispatch, driver, crew — rather than publishing individual staff names.
The yard is at 114 Dotson Memorial Rd, Maryville, TN 37801, just off Broadway Avenue and close to US-321.
Nine towns in and around Blount County: Maryville, Alcoa, Rockford, Townsend, Louisville, Friendsville, Walland, Eagleton Village, and Greenback, which sits just across the line in Loudon County.
Monday through Saturday, 7:00am to 7:00pm, for calls, scheduling and most deliveries.
Call (865) 324-0741. Pricing typically runs $350 to $750 depending on dumpster size, debris type, delivery location and rental length, and we always confirm a firm number on the phone rather than quoting blind online.
Service area
We run roll-off containers out of our 114 Dotson Memorial Rd yard in Maryville to all nine communities we cover — Alcoa and Rockford close in, Townsend, Walland and Louisville toward the mountains, Friendsville and Eagleton Village, and Greenback just across the county line. Maryville and the closest towns are usually same-day; the farther edges of the service area are next-day. If your town is not listed, call anyway. We likely still get there.
