What "Roll-Off" Means
A roll-off container sits on a set of rails and gets pulled onto or off of our truck bed with a hydraulic winch, which is why it needs a reasonably flat, solid surface to sit on — a driveway, a compacted lot, or a job-site pad. It's an open-top box you load yourself, which is what keeps the flat rate lower than a service where a crew does the loading for you.
